Counted in days, an age becomes a number with its own milestones. Someone born on January 1, 2000 reaches their 10,000th day on May 19, 2027, at 27 years, 4 months and 18 days – and their billionth second on September 9, 2031. Enter your date of birth, and the time if you know it, and the calculator shows how many days, weeks, months, hours, minutes and seconds you have lived, with the date of your next 1,000th day and the big round numbers still ahead.

| 30,000th | 82 years, 1 month, 18 days | February 19, 2082 |
The ages shift by a day or two for other birth dates, depending on how many leap days fall in between. Some people celebrate their 10,000th day like a birthday: unlike the birthday, it comes only once.
Your age in every unit
A life of 30 years is about 10,957 days, 1,565 weeks, 263,000 hours or 15.8 million minutes. The calculator counts to the current minute on your own clock when you leave the end date on today. Clock changes for daylight saving time are not counted, so the hours can be off by one.

Frequently asked questions
How many days old am I?
Count the days from your birth date to today; the calculator does it for any date between 1900 and 2199, including leap days. Someone born on January 1, 2000 was 9,441 days old on November 6, 2025.
When is my 10,000th day?
10,000 days after your birth: at about 27 years and 4 months. For someone born on January 1, 2000, it falls on May 19, 2027.
When will I be a billion seconds old?
A billion seconds is about 31 years, 8 months and 8 days. Born at midnight on January 1, 2000, you reach it on September 9, 2031, at 1:46:40 in the morning.
Why does the time of birth matter?
Only for hours, minutes and seconds. Without it, the calculator counts from midnight on your birthday; with it, the count is exact to the minute.
Is my birthday day 0 or day 1?
Day 0, the way ages are counted: you are 0 days old on the day you are born and turn one on day 365 or 366.
