Privacy policy

In short: what you type into our calculators and games stays on your device. We only measure visits with Google Analytics if you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for zet4u.com is SVZET SRL, Calea Unirii 36, 720165 Suceava, Suceava County, Romania. Tax ID 50642589, Trade Register no. J2024027829000, EUID ROONRC.J2024027829000. You can reach us at [email protected].

What we do not collect

The numbers and choices you enter in a calculator or a game are processed in your browser and are never sent to us or to anyone else. The only exception is an online game with friends, where your moves have to reach the other player (see “Playing with friends” below). You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or payment details to use the site.

What is stored on your own device

To work properly – and to work offline – the site stores a few items in your browser (local storage and the cache). They never leave your device:

You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Details are in our cookie policy.

Google Analytics – only with your consent

If you click “Accept all” (or switch on “Analytics” in the cookie settings), we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which tools are useful. Google then processes: the pages you visit (only the page address, never the values you typed), the date and time, your approximate location (country and city), your device and browser type, and your IP address, which Google uses to estimate the location. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_*, which last up to 13 months.

We have switched off Google Signals and ad personalization. We keep analytics data for 14 months. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page; we then stop loading Google Analytics and delete its cookies.

Server logs

Like every website, our server keeps technical logs to keep the site secure and working: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and the browser's identification. We use them to detect attacks and errors, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are kept for about two months and then deleted.

Email

If you write to [email protected], we use your message and email address only to reply. Messages are forwarded to our mailbox through Cloudflare Email Routing. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your request.

Playing with friends (game rooms)

If you open or join a game room, the room on our server receives only what the game needs: the room code, the name you choose (optional, up to 16 characters), a random token that lets you rejoin after a reload, your moves, and the quick phrases or emoji you send. There is no free chat, and we never ask who you are. A room and everything in it are deleted automatically 12 hours after its last activity, or about a minute after everyone has left. To stop abuse, we count requests per IP address over one minute or one hour; the address is only kept as a one-way code for that time window and is then deleted. The legal basis is the performance of the service you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for the limits, our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who processes data for us

Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on legal safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting what happened before. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority – in the country where you live or work, or in Romania, where we are established: the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.

Put zet4u on your home screen

It opens like an app, and the calculators and games keep working with no internet – even on a plane. Free, no account.

  1. In Safari, tap Share (the square with the arrow pointing up). If you don’t see it, tap ⋯ first.
  2. Scroll down and choose Add to Home Screen.
  3. Tap Add. The zet4u icon appears next to your other apps.

In Chrome on iPhone, Share is at the top, next to the address bar.
